Stimulus Health Care Bill Reform

Health care is a growing concern in the United States. Unchecked by any public health care providers, private health care providers have been raising their cost at their every whim. Americans need health care and with no other options they can charge whatever they want.

However, there is hope to finally see some relief with the proposed stimulus bill on health care. Newly unemployed individuals (of which there are now millions and growing numbers) would be eligible for Medicaid coverage and healthcare subsidies under the proposed stimulus bill for health care reform. It is a $819 billion stimulus health care bill that is supposed to also help by pumping cash into the ever more ailing economy.

Many conservatives are also supporting the health care changes in stimulus bill; at least as a temporary solution. They don`t want to see the ever growing number of newly employed and consequently uninsured individuals to joining the 47 million Americans already without health insurance.

The healthcare stimulus bill will help both the newly unemployed and senior citizens. It was one of the highest priorities listed on Obama list of things to get accomplished while holding the presidential office. It was also not listed under health care, but rather under an economic stimulus issue.

While this stimulus bill for health care is supported by many, there are naturally those who still dispute an question if it is the best thing for the country. It is question if the bill has the right mix of cash infusions to help the economy and tax breaks. While they support electronic records, they question if it is a good idea for the government to track and pass judgment on if the doctor is taking the appropriate action are cost affective. Should the government be that involved in your doctors decisions for what the best treatment is for you?

As you can see, health care has been an issue for many years. With tens of millions of people unable to afford medical coverage in the United states. Weather you are in support of Obama`s health care reform bill, or you have your own ideas, now is the time to get informed and involved. While there are many questions, the stimulus health reform bill seems to have enormous potential to offer much more, immediate relief. The options are wide open, but decisions must be made and change must occur for a healthier country.
